The German Limes Road runs along the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes from Rheinbrohl/Bad Hönningen on the Rhine to Regensburg on the Danube as a tourist route.

Le limes extérieur de la Haute Germanie-rhétique constitue l’un des plus extraordinaires monuments archéologiques de l’Europe centrale et était déclaré au patrimoine culturel mondial de l’UNESCO en juillet 2005.
De Limes-autoroute loopt van Bad Hönningen am Rhein dwars door de provincies Rijnland-Palts, Hessen, Baden-Württemberg en Beieren om tenslotte bij Passau aan de Donau te eindigen.
