The German Limes Road Association was founded in 1996 with the intention to create a touristic route for motorists along the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes. Having made public relations its main task, the association supports its members as well as museums along the Limes during their events. Moreover, the association aims at calling attention to this unique archaeological monument - within and beyond Germany – via information and marketing.
