Pleinfeld

The Markt Pleinfeld is centrally located in the "New Franconian Lake District" and is the gateway to the Altmühltal Nature Park from the north.
Leisure and recreation center at the Brombachsee, which is emerging in the west of Pleinfeld.

In addition, the idyllic valleys and the Rhaetian Limes, the course of which is clearly visible in places, invite you to go hiking.

There is a well-restored stone tower (WP 14/17) north of Theilenhofen.
South of Pleinfeld at Dorsbrunn is WP 14/20 as a partly reconstructed stone tower. Small fort at Gündersbach, which was discovered in 2006.
